Description
KC Maritime is a shipping company which operates in the dry bulk sector across the world and has its own self-unloading bulk, crane and cement vessels.

Application
The Panamax-mounted PLM 3522 (35 ton on 22 meters stevedoring crane) with PLM gantry is used for the self-unloading and self-loading of the vessel. In this way the ship is not dependent on the unloading facilities on the quay. The ship can also be used for “Mid-stream operations”, i.e. the ship remains anchored at sea and discharges itself into barges.

Delivery

This project was delivered as a turnkey project.

Both the cranes and gantries were built by us. The ship was also converted, the crane rail affixed and reinforcements over a length of 150 m put in place, all under the direction of PLM Cranes B.V.
